Work, Spin, Work

According to the handy (scary) little countdown clock on the Film Fest event page, there is exactly 3 days, 23 hours, 52 minutes until go time.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!

That's why today, I left spin class and went back to work. Well, technically, "back to work" because I'm working on a laptop on my kitchen table. But still. More work.

At least it's fun work. I'm making the playlist that will play before and after the films and during intermission. Unfortunately, my music taste tends toward 80's/rap/Lady Gaga, which I don't think goes all that well with the Wild & Scenic theme.

What music do you think works for an environmental film fest during the filtering in/intermission/filtering out portion?

Why I am mad at Jodi

Last night I had a dream that I was back in Bellingham, and there was an awesome, 80's dance party to go to. Kelly, Lindsay, Courtney, Erin and I were getting dressed up and planning to dance our shoes off to some killer 80's tunes, but Jodi...refused to go! She claimed to be "too cool" for an 80's dance party.

What a bitch.

Then to make matters worse, the 80's dance party was cancelled! No 80's dancing for anyone. I was so, so sad.

Then I woke up, and I was still a little sad.

Procrastination

1. Which is a worse offense to humanity:
Jessica Simpson singing You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) or the Pussicat Dolls version of Tainted Love?

Note: I really like the Flo Rida version.
Note: I just noticed that Flo + Rida = FLORIDA

2. Literal Versions of Music Videos.

3. Dream Jobs:
   a. Environmental manager of a brewery by day, 80s DJ by night.
   b. Blondie
   c. Professional beach volleyball player.
   d. Costume designer for Salt, Pepa, and DJ Spinderella.

4. Where should I go on vacation this summer, Nature's Closet to visit Kelly and Hamblesaurus Rex or Boston to visit Emily and Clelia?

Crap I want from Urban Outfitters

It's midterms next week, so instead of studying I am browsing the Urban Outfitter website.

I would make a Lynn paper doll and have them get married.

A drink luge! You pour your drink in the top and it goes through the ice luge and is cold in your glass!

I would totally sleep with Blondie.
Look! It's a way to make drinks that looks like chemistry. I love drinks AND I love chemistry.

I miss Bellingham

Today, when I was working out, Don't Stop Believin! came on my ipod, and I didn't skip it.

Also, this is what my arms are going to look like soon:
