Your marketing is wasted on me

Something I will not be purchasing from American Apparel:

High waisted shiny hot shorts.

Friends do not let friends wear these shorts.

Weird dreams

I have really weird dreams.

Last night, I dreamed I was in Los Angeles because I was playing on Roberto Cavalli's softball team. We were playing against the Chanel team for the championship. We won in an exciting, clash of skills, a real nail-biter until the bitter end. Then Kelly blogged about our victory. Our softball team/fashion entourage was staying at a fancy hotel casino, rather like one you would expect to see in Vegas. Unlike most hotel casinos, however, in order to travel to other parts of the hotel, (the pool, the bar, etc.) you were required to crawl through human size hamster tunnels. While crawling through these tunnels, (before sliding down to the pool area) I ran into Spencer from The Hills. He was a tool. Then I went swimming.

The End

Life goal #76: Cuddle with a baby polar bear

Further proof that there is nothing on earth cuter than baby polar bears.

I also love Maddeline L'Engle

"If I had my way, none of us would have to read this review at all. Instead, we'd join hands, hear a great dark thunderclap, and be whisked off to a rambling house in the country, where we'd view odd things bubbling in a lab with a stone floor, then eat limburger-and-cream-cheese sandwiches while swinging our legs at the kitchen table. We'd sidestep for a moment onto a planet inhabited by gentle gray creatures with dents for eyes, then be inserted into some mitochondria. We battle for the soul of Madoc /Maddox, and eat small crayfish with our lesbian kind-of aunt who insisted on calling us our full name (Polyhymnia). We'd hop on a freighter and solve a mystery, then go to boarding school in Switzerland. We would make a brief detour on the Upper West Side by way of Portugal, and be concerned with cell regeneration in starfish. We'd be smacked on the ass by a dolphin. Most important, whatever happened, we'd know we could get through it—because we are creatures that can love."

Everyone should read more Madeline L'Engle

I love breakfast!

I love breakfast! I love breakfast food, in the morning, or for dinner. I love to eat breakfast, whether it be cereal or leftover Chinese food. I love breakfast places. I love the abundance of breakfast places in Bellingham. I want a boyfriend because then someone would be societally required to buy be breakfast once a week. My last two years of college, I ate peanut butter toast for breakfast every single day. I love omelettes. I love toast. I REALLY love homefries from the Original Pancake House. Today for breakfast, I had a granola bar and Apple Jacks. Yesterday I had leftover cold spaghetti. I had my most surreal life experience at a Chinese breakfast restaraunt in New Zealand.

Also, I might be really hungry right now.

Douchebag Party

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2004449470_seattleuparties31m.html?syndication=rss

I'm going to make a value judgement here:

- Douchebag party: okay
- Party named after an offensive word for the female anatomy where the men dress up like hunters and women dress up like prey: not okay
